Chief Operating Officer and head of the transformation of Apollo Hospital Dr. Subbaiah Viswanathan said that a team of experts which includes cardiologists, pulmonologist and critical care specialists is monitoring her. She has been shifted to CCU.
Earlier in the day, the hospital has said the Chief Minister has completely recovered and is ready to go home.
The 68-year-old leader has been hospitalized for over two months.She was hospitalized on September 22 after she suffered from fever and dehydration. The doctors later moved her into the intensive care unit and put her on the ventilator for lung congestion.
The paramilitary forces are on standby in and around Tamil Nadu.
Ch Vidyasagar Rao, the governor of Tamil Nadu left for Chennai after Apollo hospital released the statement.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh enquired about the health of Jayalalitha. He telephoned Vidyasagar Rao and took the update on Chief Minister’s health.

The cinema halls in Chennai has canceled all shows as the health of their beloved leader continues to decline.
