Bakula Bua ka Bhoot: New upcoming show on &TV, timing, Cast, Story

After Success in the high rated shows like Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai, Jai Santoshi Maa, Waaris etc, &TV is going to air its upcoming TV Show “Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot” which consists various aspects of comedy cum horror which made you laugh and cry. Now, &TV is all set to be back with a new show Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot starring Apara Mehta in the lead. The new Comedy Show is by JD Majethia under the banner of Hats off Productions and written by the writer of Sarabha Aatish Kapadia.

Story:

JD Majethia is coming with a fresh and unique story in Bakula Bua ka Bhoot. The show is about a dominating and perfectionist. She is the sole decision-maker in her family. Sarita Joshi aka Bakula is a bachelor Lady who lives with her brother and his family. All members of the family pray to God for her dying. One day, she dies and stuck between heaven and hell, and thus begins her journey from the ‘other side. She comes to the Yamraj and asks him to send her back.

Apara Mehta is playing as Bakula’s Bhabhi. “Apara in real life also has that shringar and nazakat. We used to tease her as Rekha. In the serial too, her husband romances her even at this age. She has a sense of humour and is in a happy space. And, yet she has some desires which she wants to fulfil.” We also caught up with Majethia and asked about the show. Talking about it, he stated, “It’s a show which will unite Apara Mehta and Sarita Joshi for the first time. This show will have a fresh set of characters which people have never seen before. It will be entertaining viewers on the weekends. The show will air on &TV.”

Apara’s character will be someone who will be seen doing the Garba every now and then as she hails from a typical Gujarati family. Apara, who became a household name with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi will be completing 20 years in the industry. The show is written by Aatish Kapadia and will be seen his daughter Khushali assisting him for the first time.

The channel has confirmed that ‘Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot’ will launch in the weekend 20:00 slot from Saturday 24th June. The time band has been vacant since ‘Taste Match’ ended last week. However, the show did not fare so well in ratings. Comedy has been a success formula for &TV and thus expectations for ‘Bakula Bua Ka Bhoot’ are much more higher.
