Delhi on high alert – other states have been put on high alert

After Surgical strikes, Indian Govt has announced to put a high alert in crowded places of main other states Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, Maharashtra and Gujarat by the time of festivals.Intelligence agencies said that the National capital city is a fruitful target for the terrorist groups. Terror groups like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are active and could choose high public footfall are to take revenge on the upcoming festival season.

Defence experts have said that Pakistan’s non-state persons may take terror steps to take revenge against India. After surgical strikes, they would use their sleeper-cell network.

Indian Govt has ordered all senior officers to remain and keep security at markets, malls, airport, temples, multiplexes, metro stations, hospitals, railway stations, hotels and tourist places. According to sources,national security adviser Ajit Doval said to the IB(Intelligence Bureau) and the Delhi police commissioner to keep high alert.

On Thursday, Delhi police had already placed barricades at major running roads and they have personally checked every suspicious vehicle. Now they have placed the anti-terror unit, emergency response vehicles and SWAT teams,security and surveillance around India Gate, Connaught Place, Chanakyapuri and areas near by Parliament street.

If we discuss about Navratras, Durga Puja, Dusshera and Diwali,all the festival around the corner, Delhi Police will keep tight vigil in all public places.They also ordered to maintain CCTV cameras in their areas with proper functioning.
