How many of us write to the CEO of world renowned company Google? Maybe a lot of us. Some may tweet it or try to connect through the facebook page. In this hi-tech era, there are a lot of ways to do so. Social media is a solid platform for such things. That’s not a big deal, though. What makes it interesting is when someone writes a hand written letter to Google CEO Sundar Pichai. Things get cute when the sender is jus a 7-year-old little girl who dreams of working in Google some day. But do you know what is the best part about it? It is when the CEO of Google actually replies to your letter. Isn’t it awesome? Yes, indeed it is.
Often when we ask our young ones about what they want to do when they will grow up we receive interesting replies. From doctor to engineer to rock stars, their dreams know no limits. That is the best thing about it. They speak their heart out. There’s no pressure on them and they just want to follow their heart without caring about the future. One such little girl has her dreams sort out. Interestingly she wants to join Google. Now it is a dream for all tech geeks to work with Google as it is undoubtedly the best on the internet.
A seven-year-old girl named Chloe Bridgewater who hails from Hereford, UK wrote a heartwarming letter to Sundar Pichai who is the CEO of Google. In the letter, she states that she will like to work for Google when she will grow older. The letter is a treasure box of her infinite innocent dreams which the little girl wish to live. From working for Google to swimming in Olympic, she already seems to have has a beautiful vision of her future in her eyes. Reading her letter, Sundar Pichai could not stop himself from replying to her. He encouraged her to work hard, follow her dreams and come to Google someday when she is ready. Chole was pleasantly surprised as she was not expecting a reply from the boss of Google. You can only imagine the happiness on her face and motivation in her heart while she was reading the letter sent to her by Sundar Pichai.
Chole Bridgewater addressed the CEO as dear Google boss in her letter. Chole’s interest in Google aroused after she asked her father, Andy Bridgewater about the ideal place to work. He replied that Google is the one place she is looking for. He also told her that Google has bean go karts, bag chairs and slides in its office. She was fascinated by the idea of working with Kindle Fire tablet and robots in such a cool place. She told her dad that she really want to work with Google. Hearing this her father encouraged her to write a job application and Chole just nailed it in her super cute style that Sundar Pichai was forced to reply to her.
In the letter, Chole addressed the CEO as dear Google boss and started the letter by introducing her. She straightaway mentioned that she would like to work with google when she will grow older. She showed her innocence and her infinite dreams when she said that she wants to work in a chocolate factory and also swim in the Olympics. She even revealed her schedule that she goes for swimming every Saturday and Tuesday. She mentioned her skills in computer and her interest in working at a place where she can ride on slides and sit on bean bags. The little girl didn’t forget to tell the Google boss that she has a tablet and she plays games on it. She even talked about the game she plays on her tablet in which she has to move a robot up and down in squares. She expressed her desire to learn more about computers. She even gave the reference of her teachers by saying that they tell her parents that she is very good in class. She added her qualities in her CV by telling that she is very good in her spellings, readings and sums. She also talked about her little sister Hollie, and that she likes her doll and to dress. She did reveal that her father encouraged her to write the letter to the tech giant. Though she does not know what exactly a job application is she hope this letter is enough for now. In the end, she thanked Sundar Pichai and she wrote that she has only sent one letter before this and that was to Father Christmas.
Only a person with no heart would not reply to such a sweet letter. And guess what… Mr Pichai has a ver big heart. He actually replied to Chole’s letter. In his letter, he thanked Chole for writing the letter. He was glad to know that the little girl was interested in technology and hoped that she will continue to learn about it in the future. He motivated her to follow her dreams and if she will keep working hard then she will accomplish everything in her life she wants to. Be it working with Google or swimming at the Olympics. He ended by saying that he is looking forward for her job application in the future when she will finish her school.
Surely this amazing reply would have made Chole’s resolve of joining Google, even more, stronger. This letter of Chole and Mr Pichai went viral after Chole’s father Andy Bridgewater shared it in his LinkedIn post. In the post, he mentioned that this reply was a huge confidence boost for his little girl who was knocked out by a car a few years ago. She had lost her confidence due to the incident but now has got it back and is ready to chase her dreams with a stronger resolve. He also told that she wants to go to TV shows and media and use it as a way to make through Google.
