You must have seen the Kapil Sharma’s comedy show, but the mobile gift given by Kapil Sharma will be rarely seen. Yes, that was Lava Z10, which is promoted by Kapil Sharma. Indian brand Lava has launched Lava Z10 Smartphone in March 2017, is coming with a 5-inch HD IPS LCD Capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 * 720 pixels at a pixel density of 294 PPI(Pixel per inch).
Lava recently announced that our company is concentrating on a smaller portfolio of phones, starting with the new metal-bodied Z series and claiming to offer premium build quality. They are introducing the first two models in this series, the Lava Z10 and Lava Z25. The Z10 is the more affordable and come with decent specifications and currently priced at Rs 9,900.
As far as we talk about Lava Z10, Lava has taken a very simple approach to making the design of model 10. The phone has a plain white front and a metallic gold back. Lava has used metal to make the middle part, but other side plastic was used instead of metal including the rim. The back cover is actually a removable shell and When we remove it you see the shiny battery along with two SIM slots and a MicroSD card slot.
Like Xiaomi Note 4, the power and volume button is on the right side. Users can easily switch On/Off using their thumb. While the Lava Z10 is completely nothing to the left. There is a Micro-USB charging port at the bottom and a 3.5mm headphone socket at the top of the phone.
There is a selfie flash on the top alongside the earpiece in the front of the Lava Z10. The phone has a notification LED hidden just below the proximity sensor. The front of the Lava Z10 has a selfie flash on the topside along the earpiece. A loudspeaker can be seen further down in Lava G10. Nowadays everyone is giving fingerprint sensor in the budget smartphones, but Lava has not given this sensor feature to this phone.

There is an 8-megapixel camera with 1.4-micron pixels and f/2.0 aperture in Lava G10. The Z10 is capable of recording video at up to HD resolution (1280×720) with the rear camera. With the help of bigger pixel size, the sensor can capture better colours and less noise in the output. Lava made its camera app while being inspired by iPhone application. Toggle button for HDR is available in the mode selection menu instead of the main screen and isn’t very convenient for users. The camera overexposes to capture the photograph in the daytime. HDR mode does not help much.
Lava G10 is having a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a front flash. A wide selfie mode also available in the app which takes multiple shots and stitches them together. Indoor pictures is captured out well. The front flash can be used either in auto mode or as a spotlight which turns on all the time. The front camera is limited to VGA resolution (640×480).
The phone comes with the 2 GB Ram and with a considerable bloatware. When it comes to only 2 GB Ram, It seems to be that it will give a very sluggish performance but it does not same, it gave a good speed. Lava Z10 is performing well with RAM management and we had close to 1GB of RAM free at all times, which is good. While using this phone, We had always 1GB Ram close. While playing games like Real Racing 3, Dead Trigger 2 and Asphalt 8 on the phone, it handled quite well with A little too warm.
What could be better than that user is getting a smartphone in low price and Lava Z10 is aggressive with RAM management, which is good. As far as we talk about Lava Z10 has not added any new trending features like the Fingerprint scanner and good Camera. Because many companies are giving all these things at the same prices, the users should think it as an option.
