Story
The story of Film Tubelight is inspired by Hollywood film Little Boy based against the backdrop of the Indo-China war. Director Kabir Khan shown story of a small-town innocent Laxman (Salman Khan) who looks at the world differently. Because of his stupid movements, his friends and relatives call him tube light. In the meantime, war broke out in India and China and Laxman’s brother Bharat (Sohail Khan) went to Indo-China border. He is missing his brother badly and attempts hard to bring back his brother safely. Meanwhile, Chinese girl Liling (Ju Xu) and her son Gou (Matin Ray Tangun) arrive in their town. Angry people of the town and Narayana Tiwari (Mohammed Zeeshan Job) because of the war with China, attacks them, but Lakshman helps them. Then Laxman gets the news that his brother Bharat is in captivity of the Chinese army. So is Laxman able to get his brother back?
If we talk about direction, then Kabir Khan’s movie does not seem to hold anything. Due to the disturbance of the plot spoiled a good story, the audience disappointed. For showing the concept of self-motivation, Kabir has made all kinds of things from Salman in the film. The first part of the film is weak, so in the second half things get spoiled, so many scenes go out of the mind. The fans of Salman Khan like to see him in an angry young man like Dabangg, but in this movie, he appears in the role of an inhuman man, who used to cry in front of others in the film. As often as Salman does in an emotional scene, fans often laugh. Especially in the army recruiting scene and during zipping of his pant, Salman entertains the fans very much, while Salman showed overacting in many crying scenes. Despite this, if you are a fan of Salman and want to see the last film of veteran actor Om Puri, then you can go to the cinema to meet them on Eid.
